THE HANDMADE FRAME

The right tool at the right moment. I work both digitally and analog, valuing each for what it offers. Most projects benefit from the precision and efficiency of digital photography — but some simply need what only film can deliver.

LIGHT AS PAINT. CAMERA AS BRUSH.

THE best of both worlds

A black DSLR camera mounted on a top slide of a film developing machine with a strip of film. Gray background.

It starts with a strip of light-sensitive film — something physical, and beautifully organic. From that starting point, my workflow moves between the tactile and the technical. I work with specialised laboratories for development. From there, the process becomes more personal: I scan the negatives myself, frame by frame, using a state of the art mirrorless digital camera setup that preserves the texture, depth and character of film.

Tailor-made with a secret ingredient — called love.
